Scientific Name: Trametes orchracea
(No English name)
Fungi facts: This bracket fungus grows on dead wood of deciduous trees such as oak and beech. The top of the tiered brackets is a delicate fawn colour which contrasts with the white underside which is covered in pores, not gills, from which the spores are shed. It is found all the year round.
Technique: Appliqué with felting and stitching
