Scientific Name:Abortiporus biennis
Fungi facts:This species is found growing near the bases and stumps of both living and dead wood. The fruit body has been described as 'an untidy mess' by some authors as there is hardly a cap or stem to speak of. The white pores on the surface often exude a reddish juice and bruise reddish brown.
