Corris Uchaf. The upper set of cantilever slate steps built into the slate tip retaining wall. Kindly provided to allow the quarry men a short cut up to the quarry workings from the village. Believed to be unique to this area of Wales. No longer visible behind the tree growth.

Believed to be unique to this area of Wales... I know (knew) of a similsr set at abercwmeiddaw long gone (landscaping) would like to know exactly where this set is even if buried in forestry, and if you know of any other sets. A hugely important aspect of our heritage which is much overloooked. (and thx for all your other contributions :))
