Description

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near the Hen and Chicks, St Brides Bay on 20th July 1997. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: Went out at St Brides Bay after the third wave had returned. Dropped in on the west side of Hen & Chicks descended the anchor line with Phil. Followed Phil on the bottom after a little uncertainty on the bottom, lots of other divers about. Lots to see again all the corals and anemones out feeding - very colourful. Leigh caught a medium sized edible crab. Saw a nice one ourselves out in the open on the vertical rock face, it only had one claw.
