Description

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near Stack Rocks, Little Haven Reef 4th October 1997. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: Planned to dive for Scallops, with the benefit of some local knowledge. Free decent landed on sandy sea bed which was virtually covered in Brittle Starfish. Lots of sand and hermit Crabs about. Collected a variety of large, empty shells for Alyn. Managed to find just a couple of Scallops. An easy and enjoyable dive. Simon completed his 20m dive for sports.
