Dive Log - The Lucy Wreck, Skomer Island 19th June 1999

Description

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive at The Lucy Wreck, Skomer Island 19th June 1999. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: Launched out of Little Haven lots of Harbor Porpoise feeding around North sound Skomer and sea birds having lunch prior to going in: - Brilliant! Went first down the Bouyed line onto the bows. Had a problem about 28m I think I must have gone down a little to fast. Lots of life about and very little current about. Explored a number of openings on our way to the stern where the current picked up quite a bit. Only one minute no-stop remaining so decided to come up the stern line. Enjoyable dive once settled onto the wreck.
