This picture shows a fully assembled Astralite Motor Cycle wheel. The two halves of the wheel were blanked from AA5252 sheet and then pressed before being sent for rim spinning and anodising off-site. The final operations performed at Rheola and subsequently at the Advance Factory in Neath ( after Rheola closure) involved fitting the bearing in the hub and then rivetting the whole assembly together. The sales of the wheel product never took off and the satellite factory closed within 2 years of the Resolven plant closure.
