Photo supplied by Martin Valerio of Swansea and sent to us by Anita Arcari. Valerio is a well-known family in the Swansea area, originally from Filignano, Italy. The photo dates from 1946.

Leonardo (Leo) Valerio - Martin's father, Born 9th August 1919. Here aged approx 27, shortly after the war. He was on active British service from 1940-46, serving in N Africa and Italy
