Black and white Photograph of the Caerwent Celtic Head in situ.

Description

The Caerwent Celtic Head (see detailed image in this collection) was discovered associated with a shrine near House 7 South (see plan in this collection). It is thought that the stone sculpture could possibly represent the continuation of pre-Roman beliefs in Roman Caerwent.
