A newspaper article from The Cambria Daily Leader, published on 27/07/1914, describing the stranding of a whale on Three Cliffs Bay.

The clipping reads as follows: "UNEXPECTED VISITOR TO THE GOWER COAST. A telephonic message from Three Cliffs Bay, on the Gower coast, states that a large whale has been washed ashore there. This unexpected visitor has created quite a mild sensation in the neighbourhood. At the time of telephoning it was stated to be alive."
