Description

Date: 30/06/1901

Transciption: Went over Barnado's Home at Stepney last Tuesday, saw the boys at their work, also the crêche where they keep babies in the daytime at the small sum of 2d, they range from a few months to 4 years, also saw the Hospital adjoining a nice airy place. Went to Mr Carlile's Church where they have a lantern service every day at 1.15 followed by a short address. Avec les meilleurs amitiés de Marie
