Description

An extract from Morris, L., 1748. Plans of Harbours, Bars, Bays and Roads in St. George's Channel. The extract (page 49) describes the wildlife found in the area, including seals and puffins.

The extract reads as follows: “SEALS breed in plenty about these Islands, and great Profit might be made from their Skins and Oils.

Here are also Puffins, Razor-bills, Guillemots, &c. as there are in Bardsey, and other Islands on this Coast.”
