Description

An extract from Morris, L., 1748. Plans of Harbours, Bars, Bays and Roads in St. George's Channel. The extract (page 52) describes the sea plant, found around Laurenny (now known as Lawrenny).

The extract reads as follows: “Here grows a Sea Plant, called Laverbread, or which is made Black Butter; a great Rarity”
