Description

An introduction to the document "The Cummings Sisters: Glimpses of North Wales in Watercolour: 1880-1930", which recounts the history of two sisters, Annie and Beatrice Cummings, and their numerous journeys across North Wales, painting, sketching and documenting their experiences along the way.

This introduction contains the historical background, an annexure and a bibliography of the completed work.

This history was researched and presented here by Mark Callaghan, along with a selection of their artworks which were published by volunteers at the National Library of Wales.
