Map showing the route taken by the peace appeal across America
Description
In 1924, a delegation of four Welsh women undertook a 'Welsh Women's Peace Tour' across America, meeting president Calvin Coolidge before travelling across the country, garnering support for the appeal. The above visual shows the route taken by the delegation once in America. Stops along the way included Washington D.C., Chicago, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
