Another quality, hand painted / decorated truncheon of the former Neath Borough Police, added in recent days to the extensive truncheon section of 'The Ross Mather Police Memorabila of Wales Collection'. It is one of four decorated truncheon examples from the former Neath Borough force. The collection itself,contains many examples of former Welsh police force, hand painted / decorated truncheons, most of which date back to the 19th century / Victorian period. This fine example is in superb condition, with little damage or marking to the paintwork.
