This is a copy of an original photograph of Royal Navy Sailor Gwyn Davies and his two crew mates talking with an unidentified VIP. Gwyn is sitting nearest the VIP. It is believed this photograph may have been taken in Valetta, Malta in the 1960's, whilst Gwyn was stationed on the Island. Gwyn remembered this scene and meeting, in his later life. The gentleman, described by Gwyn as a very nice old gentleman, clearly made an impact upon the three sailors. The meeting was arranged by the Navy.
