Dai served for over twelve years with the Junior Leader regiment and Royal Regiment of Wales RRW between 1979 and 1982. In this photograph, Dai, positioned in the middle, is seen enjoying a light hearted moment in the Barracks, as the RRW soldiers clean their weapons in between patrols in Northern Ireland.
