This is a photograph that was taken by a Royal Regiment of Wales soldier whom was deployed in the field during Operation Lionheart in Germany in 1984. The original photograph along with several others is with Mr Dai Dudley, a British Army Veteran whom served in the Royal regiment of Wales and was present and watching the Paras drop from an RAF C130 as the photograph was taken. Photographs and other documents relating to Dai's service in the RRW and Junior Leader regiment can be viewed on line in the David Dudley collection at West Wales Veterans Archive.
