This is a photograph of a certificate presented to British Army soldier from the Royal regiment of Wales, Private Dai Dudley. Dai swam the channel with two colleagues during a charity challenge completed by a team of RRW soldiers, which raised a significant sum on money to help a local German children's centre in September 1987.
