This is a copy of an original photograph in the possession of Leslie Smart. Leslie served for three years with the regiment between 1953 and 1956 and then four years as a Reservist. This photograph was taken sometime before his departure from Liverpool on the troop ship Emperor Hallidale, with the 1st battalion destined for service in Kenya. his is a copy of a photograph of the hospital at Kampala called Victoria.
