Leslie Smart - British Army
This is a collection of material, headlined by a filmed interview with Mr Leslie Frank Smart of Ceredigion. Leslie is a British Army Veteran, who served in the Gloucestershire regiment from 1953 to 1956 and then as a Reservist in the regiment for four years. In this collection Leslie shares his memoirs of his childhood, growing up in Southern England and South Wales. He then talks about his military service, the bulk of which was served in Kenya. Copies of original photographs illustrate the collection and some written documents assist the viewer of the video films.
