This is a photograph taken of British Army Veteran Derrick Clarke, who is being interviewed by Age Cymru Dyfed staff. The camera is being set up and Derrick is preparing himself. Derrick has written and published a book "Into the eye of the Yemen - The lost soldier". The book is a narrative account of Derrick's experience of compulsory national service in the British Army between 1958 and 1960. The photograph is published with his permission, to compliment his collection. The filmed interview and related material can be viewed online in the Derrick Clarke collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the People's collection Wales website.
