Derrick Clarke - British Army 1958 to 1960

This is a collection of material which documents the experiences of British Army Veteran Derrick Clarke of west Wales. Derrick completed compulsory national service in the Royal Warwickshire regiment, between 1958 and 1960. The majority of Derrick's service was completed in Aden (Yemen). The collection contains three short films which cover an interview with Derrick and some other material which helps the viewer to understand Derrick's story. Viewers of Derrick's collection may also wish to visit the Media Archive for Central England (MACE). The archive contains a short news film clip of Derrick's company of Royal Warwickshire regiment soldiers boarding a train from Norton station, Worcestershire.
