Signature of Mrs E. E. Williams J.P. on the peace petition [Box16 petition 30] Llanidloes

A signature of interest as female Justices of the Peace weren’t appointed to the role until 1919 so she was obviously an early one. She was also the owner of an Ironmonger's business named E Williams Sons & Co at Midwales House, Llanidloes.
