This is a copy of an original photograph belonging to Mr John Roberts RN retired. John was a Sailor aboard HMS Loch Fada in 1955 to 56, during its deployment to the Persian Gulf. The photograph shows a local fishing vessel being brought alongside the Royal Navy ship, in order for the Navy crew to search the vessel. This was a regular task for the Royal Navy patrols.
