Description
Case notes for Sarah Ann Edwards during her time as a patient in the North Wales Hospital, Denbigh in 1917. She was first admitted in August 1917 and supposed cause was given as “a son joining the army” where she remained until discharged in October 1918. The 1918 annual report for the hospital states that 19% of new admissions were attributed to “war worry”, and this included both civilian and non-civilians.
