This is a copy of an original photograph of Trooper John Biggs 3rd Carabineers Prince of Wales Dragoon Guards band (3rd from right as you look at photo) and colleagues . It was taken in the first half of the 1960s when the regimental band was assigned to perform a ceremonial guard at the SHAPE NATO headquarters location in France. The rear of the photograph is marked with the SHAPE pictorial section public information division stamp in red ink. John joined the British Army as a Musician in 1959 and served for six years.
