This is a photograph of a plaque displayed proudly on the wall of an RAF Veteran. It is the crest of the Regional Intelligence Cell which operated in Northern Ireland during the period known as the troubles. It belongs to RAF Veteran Nigel Hopkins. Nigel's memoirs of his service in the RAF, supported my photographs, can be viewed on line in the Nigel Hopkins RAF collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website.
