Description
The view is of the rear of the top block of Llwynypia Hospital showing the access ramp to the first floor (it was built on a slope). The brick part of the building on the left had been an orthopaedic ward and before that, it was part of the in-patient Maternity Unit. The buildings on the right are mainly service areas. Llwynypia Hospital had begun life as part of the workhouse system before becoming an NHS hospital.
