This is a photograph of Mr Roy 'Denzil' Davies of Golden Valley, who is pictured here in Zoo Gardens, Limassol, Cyprus in March 1957. Denzil was called up to undertake National Service in 1956. He served a two-year engagement, the majority of which was undertaken on the island of Cyprus. Denzil's collection can be viewed online at the West Wales Veterans Archive National Service collection on the People’s Collection Wales website.
