This is a photograph of the Cyprus General Service Campaign Medal which was awarded to National Serviceman Mr Roy 'Denzil' Davies of Golden Valley. Denzil was called up to undertake National Service in 1956. He served a two-year engagement, the majority of which was undertaken on the island of Cyprus.
