Private Llewellyn J. Griffiths, born in Llantrisant, served in the Shropshire Yeomanry and as Private 20935, 6th Kings Shropshire Light Infantry. He died of wounds, influenza and pneumonia, on 2 October 1917 and is remembered with honour on the Great War Rood Screen Memorial, All Saints Church, Mumbles.
