Description

John Jenkins of Merthyr served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Salonika. He was gassed and spent a long time in hospital: this photograph was taken of John and some of his comrades at the Royal Victoria Military Hospital in Netley. John is seated on the right of the middle row, next to the soldier with the moustache.
