Capel Garmon school, about 1893-5. Gwen Elin Roberts of the shop is the third from the right in the front row. She was 9 in the 1891 census - she's probably about 13 in this photograph. Her eldest brother, Thomas Garmon Roberts, is on the extreme left in the front row. The boy on the extreme right of the front row is William Andrew. Miss Thomas was the name of the teacher, and the headmaster was Mr W.G. Powell from South Wales.
