Description

The ancient church of Llangelynnin, Merionethshire, is dedicated to Saint Celynnin, a seventh-century saint. The church was rebuilt during the twelfth century and consists of a nave and south porch. Abraham Wood, the ancestor of the Welsh gypsies was buried in the churchyard on 13 December 1799.
