William Henry Gray (known by his family as Harry) and his brother Job William Gray lived in Cwmheldeg Terrace, Cilfynydd, and worked at the Albion Colliery before the war. Both brothers volunteered for the army, serving in different battalions (Job was with the 14th Welsh Regiment in 1917). This photograph shows the brothers - Harry is seated in uniform.
