Percy Price 1914 Christmas gift
Description
Percy Price of Cwmbran worked in the Coke Ovens Department of Guest, Keen and Nettlefolds before the war (being one of over fifty employees of the works who enlisted). He served in the Monmouthshire Regiment and survived the war: this is the gift-box he (and his fellow-soldiers) received from Princess Mary at Christmas 1914.
