Embroidered Cloth sent from Baghdad by George Bumford
Description
George Henry Bumford of Barry sent this hand-embroidered piece of cloth with a Christmas message to his sister, Maggie, at Christmastime 1917. He was serving with the Army Service Corps in Baghdad: the Corps' insignia is embroidered in the middle of the cloth.
