This shoe shop was in existence in 1902 and closed in 1993. The young man in the photograph is Mr John Rogers. The business was always run by the Rogers family. Sally and Gwennie Rogers, the daughters of Joe Rogers, ran the shop in the 1920s. Mrs Enid Rogers ran the shop from 1963. During its time this building has housed various businesses, shoe shop, insurance agent, greengrocer, paint and wallpaper shop, the main building being divided into smaller units.
