MILESTONE, SOUTH-WEST OF LLANGYBI VILLAGE

Description

Black and white photograph of a milestone south-west of Llangybi produced by Arthur Chater in 1966.

The milestone is a small roughly pointed boulder with carved words .... ' LAMPETER/ iiii Miles/ By Timothy Jacob/ and Samuel Davies/ Sight men in the year 1768'.

It was relocated on the other side of the road when the road was widened in the 1970s.
