Welcome home banner 1914-18
Description
Banner made from a single piece of fine un-dyed cotton. Screen printed with an image of a Victoria Cross medal and the inscription 'WELCOME HOME'. This flag was raised in Gendros, Swansea, when soldiers returned home on leave. It was also used to celebrate the end of the war in 1918.
