Description
A moment in time, caught for all time - this aerial photograph shows MOS EE AA Ynyslas just before closure.
Some 60 military buildings and structures have been added to the heart of the village. The large, black- roofed building to the south of thecrossroads is believed to been the workshop in which rocket parts were fabricated andassembled. In the forecourt of this building is one of the three emergency water towers which could be have been called upon in the event of a fire.
We would love to hear from former serving personnel or their descendant to learn more about the everyday life of the camp. Please contact Reader's Services at the NMRW or add your own content to this Ynyslas at War collection.
