Edward Williams, Tanybryn, Llandre (M2/156574)

Description

Edward was the son of William and Catherine Williams. He worked as a Chauffeur at Llandre prior to the war, and enlisted at Aberystwyth into the Army Service Corps. Edward became a Driver with the MT Company, Army Service Corps, and was on home service in Kent when he took ill with pneumonia. Edward died at Canterbury Military Hospital on 8 November 1918. He was 23 years old, and is buried at Llanfihangel Genau’r-glyn (St. Michael) Churchyard Extension. Edward does not seem to be commemorated locally.
