This ornate bed was inGlan-brân, a mansion near Llandovery, which has since been demolished.
According to the homeowner at Glan-brân, this bed was supposedly once used by Marie Antoinette. It was photographed by the owner, Isaac Haley, in the late 1800s. A note with this image reports that the drapes around the bed were made from a fine, pale blue fabric.
