Lead mail bag seal

Description

A mail bag lead seal dating from the late 18th / early 19th century when post was delivered by Mail Coaches. On the front is a Georgian style crown and the word POST. Below that is a motif which looks like a rose. On the rear is a word, possibly Cardiff and two motifs that look like small crowns. Unearthed by metal detector near Laleston, Bridgend.
