This drawing was made as a preliminary sketch showing a restored Market Square in Blaenau Ffestiniog. The market hall was designed by Mr Owen Morris, an architect from Porthmadog, and was built by a Mr Owen Roberts from Dolgareddu. Constructed from grey stone with red terracotta eaves and a slate roof, it features a projection with a mock balcony that was inaccessible from the interior.
