BACH, BUILTH AGAINST CLOSING HOSPITALS, HILLSIDE PROTEST GRAFFITI

Description

Aerial photograph of hillside protest graffiti by BACH (Builth Against Closing Hospitals), at Builth Wells. Taken on 08 August 2007.

In 2007 Campaigners mowed the name of their action group into a hillside in a sign stretching 200m in letters, 100m high and 40m wide in order to alert visitors to the Royal Welsh show of their campaign to oppose plans by Powys Local Health Board (LHB) to cut services at Builth Wells, Knighton, Bronllys, and Llanidloes hospitals.
