Description
Filling Drinking Water Tank, Skokholm Island, 1983. Jaap Marks, a regular visitor to Skokholm from Holland, is seen posing as 'Kilroy' to the right of the photograph. Water from the well was manually pumped into a holding tank for use in the kitchen up until the early 1980's when a piped supply system was installed using a water RAM pump.
