Description

A new exclosure to protect a relict area of heather from rabbit grazing was built between the Observatory and North Pond. This was built in the early 1980's and was very successful as the heather spread significantly and eventually filled almost half of the area. Sadly the fence was not repaired and eventually it was removed in the early 2000,s.
